Based in Barrow-in-Furness, our Branch area covers the whole of the Furness Peninsula. Though our main focus is the care and rehoming of animals coming to us via the inspectorate, we also provide welfare assistance through a voucher system for members of the public on certain specified benefits.
The Branch is run by a committee of trustees who are all volunteers. We have an Advice Centre which is open three days a week to provide advice and assistance to the general public.
In addition, we welcome volunteers to assist with animal care and transport, fundraising, pre- and post-adoption home visiting, fostering, microchipping, administration and many other small, but important jobs.
